It’s unique and artistic. It’s kind of sad that these commercials are directed well than a lot ofthe movies that have been coming out in recent years. It’s the new trend in commercial production. I’m not saying this by seeing just one. Levis, Lenovo, Nokia N8. These recent brand films are about lifestyle, cultural tension, admiration, passion, youthful freedom, romance, commercials that capture the inner self of people led by poetic verses. Lenovo has struck a chord with technology, how doers become extraordinary. Levis has understood what embraces youth but the release timing was wrong. The ad wasn’t released in UK in the midst of the London riots. And Nokia, once the best makers of the mobile phones. Can it survive the Smartphone battle with just a commercial and an outdated symbian OS which fell of throne overnight? But the commercials, is this a new trend and a trend to follow? Time will tell till someone changes the way.
