Now, finally 1.2 billion Indians can start playing football. We are ranked 163rd, from rank 100 in 1993 by FIFA. It's the best move made by a brand and hope they are here to make a change. Venky's buying Blackburn and they promoting it as India's own team. WOW, at last. Its time we drop the hype around Crick crick crick, and promote other sports.
And i always had the feeling, only a brand with passion, of course driven by a fanatic football loving CEO can bring this change in India.
Listen India, filmstars, brands,politicians: "we can make money through soccer. Not only cricket, brings green."
